Previously reported that the governor Helfi, his chief of protocol and another member of the provincial government on Monday went to the city Debdeb, which is located near the border with Libya in order to understand the conflict between city authorities and residents. He subsequently turned into a protest with the participation of young people. Upon arrival, officers were captured by the demonstrators.
One of the prisoners then released, and the governor’s chief of protocol and the kidnappers were taken to Algerian-Libyan border and handed over to the North African militants cell “of al-Qaeda.” Then, officials moved to the Libyan territory.
